Governing council
Ravi Verma
Member, Governing Council
Ravi Verma is an accomplished professional with 30 years of expertise in policy advocacy, government relations and business development across renewables, thermal power plants and large-scale steel plants. He has held pivotal roles at JSW, Adani and Welspun Group.
He is a permanent representative in policy forums and industry associations including CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM and USISPF, and has served on SPDA’s Governing Council for the last 10 years.
An electrical engineer by training, he also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in International Business and an LLB.
Industry development team
A small team, working on behalf of the whole industry.
The Industry Development team works closely on SPDA’s policy and advocacy on behalf of the solar industry. It facilitates industry collaboration through directorates, working groups and events, and keeps our members informed and engaged, contributing to the long-term growth of the sector.
